Edmonton Seahawks General Manager/President and Founding Member, Marv Mills, has been trying to fight for a football field in North Edmonton for the past 11 years.
The Castle Downs Recreation Society has formed a Park Planning Committee to look at the needs of park users and has developed a survey to get feedback/comments from the public and surrounding communities to help them evaluate the Castle Downs Park and get input of what future recreational amenities you would like to see in the Park. One of the items the Park Planning Committee has identified as a “potential project” for Castle Downs Park is the development of a football field and winter activity centre!!
The Edmonton Seahawks need your support; if you share in our belief that we need a (proper) football field in North Edmonton, we ask that you PLEASE complete the short survey and submit it for consideration ASAP. The online survey can be found

Canada Day
at Castle Downs Park
The Edmonton Seahawks will be participating again this year in the Canada Day celebrations at Castle Downs Park. Seahawk volunteers, executive and staff will be serving up burgers and other goodies and we would like to invite/remind our Seahawk football families to join us! Park festivities are from noon until 4:00 p.m. July 1st and fun is sponsored by the Castle Downs Community Leagues. We hope to see you there!

Hear Ye, Hear Ye... The Seahawks Have an Office!
The Edmonton Seahawks have secured office space and it’s located at 10807 Castledowns Road! We are in the process of moving in and “personalizing” the space but hope to be in a position to open our doors in early June. This will definitely help make operations run smoother in the future. If you know of anyone who is getting rid of a refrigerator, freezer, filing cabinets or shelves that we can use in our office, please put them in contact with General Manager, Marv Mills (780)456-1941.

Melton Jackets...
