Seahawks Kick Off Season with a win!
The Seahawks traveled to Lacombe Saturday to host the Edmonton Mustangs on the opening weekend of the 2019 Midget season.
The Seahawks came out strong and led 21-7 at the half with #65 Mikhail Biggs leading the way as he gave the Mustangs fits as they tried to stop him from rumbling down the field. The big man could not be stopped.
The Seahawks took the foot off the pedal in the second half and the Mustangs worked there way back into the game making it close with a last minute touchdown to bring them within 2. The Hawks defense held and stopped the 2 point convert then recovering the onside kick to hang on for the win.
The Seahawks will need to clean up a few areas of their game this week in practice to prepare for the Storm this Saturday @ Noon down at Clarke Stadium.
